Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

Shadowrocket Docs is the official website and user manual for Shadowrocket. These terms apply to visiting this site, reading its documentation, and using its configuration examples. Please read them before proceeding. If you do not agree, stop using this site's content.

1. Scope and nature of this documentation

This site provides guidance on verifying app authenticity, purchasing and installing the app, importing existing configurations, setting up rule-based routing, and troubleshooting. The documentation explains how to use the client; it does not guarantee service for any particular network environment and does not replace in-app notices, system permission prompts, or App Store transaction terms.

Available features and how they work may vary with the app interface, device settings, and network environment. Follow the prompts shown by the current app and operating system. App Store terms displayed on the product page and during checkout govern purchases, refunds, and account entitlements.

2. Getting the app and the limits of connection services

Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. The only place to get it is the App Store product page. Check the App Store listing for system requirements, pricing, and purchase availability. Before buying, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, and app ID 932747118.

The app is a one-time purchase; it does not include a connection plan. This site does not provide nodes or subscription services. The instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Obtain subscriptions from your service provider; their validity, fees, and terms depend on your agreement with that provider.

3. Responsible use and user responsibilities

When using Shadowrocket or this site's content, comply with the laws, regulations, network rules, and service terms that apply where you are and to your activities. Do not use them for unlawful purposes. Do not use configuration examples to gain unauthorized access, cause damage, commit fraud, violate privacy, or infringe others' rights.

Make sure you are authorized to use any server details, subscriptions, or configuration files you import, and assess their trustworthiness yourself. Back up your original configuration before changing rules. Keep subscription URLs, passwords, and other connection credentials secure, and do not publicly share logs or configurations containing sensitive information.

4. Availability and limitation of liability

The app is sold on the App Store. This site's documentation does not guarantee that any particular device, network, or connection service will always be available, or that examples will suit every use case. Configuration snippets explain syntax and matching behavior only. Before copying them, check their scope and how they may affect your existing rules.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for unavailable apps or connection services, interruptions caused by configuration changes, data loss, or resulting indirect losses. Back up your data before important operations. These terms do not exclude or limit liability where the law prohibits such exclusion or limitation, or reduce any rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

5. Intellectual property and use of content

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related brand assets belong to their developer or respective rights holders. Official icons and interface names are shown on this site to identify the product and explain its use. This does not grant visitors trademark rights or any other commercial license to those assets.

Original documentation and page content on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. When quoting them, retain the source and necessary context; do not alter the content and present it as an official publication. Your right to use the app is governed by the license terms applicable at purchase. Reading this site does not grant any additional software license.

6. Changes to these terms and handling questions

These terms may be revised to reflect changes to the documentation's scope, app features, or legal requirements. Revisions and the month of update will be posted on this page. Updated terms apply to access and use from the time they are published, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

You can revisit this page before using the app. For operational questions, read the FAQ or Getting Started guide and follow the relevant steps. For purchase or transaction issues, use the support options provided by the App Store. When troubleshooting, do not publicly share complete subscription URLs, passwords, or other sensitive information.
